In times of stress, lavender is a wonderful example to alleviate yourself in regards to promoting self-care. The lavender latin root “lavare” specifically means “to wash.” In addition to its history, the earliest recorded use of lavender dates back to ancient Egypt. Lavender oil played a role in the “mummification process.”

Ways to Use Lavender

The most common way to use lavender essential oils is aromatherapy. Relaxing yourself in an environment that is comfortable to all your senses will definitely ensure a calm state of mind. Moreover, the soothing scent of lavender will surely reduce stress, anxiety, and in some cases, mild pain.
