On Wednesday, July 19th, 2023 Dr. Catherine Sy Luib attended the book launch and signing for Stories of Some Filipino Americans of San Diego, California, by Mr. Simeon G. Silverio, Jr., which featured several stories of prominent San Diego Filipinos. Dr. Luib had the honor of speaking on the panel about her contributions to the Filipino Community through the Luib Health Center and The House of Hilot. Finally, Dr. Luib expressed her excitement around educating future generations on Traditional Filipino Medicine through retreats, internships and apprenticeships.
