Today Luib Health Center was honored with a unique proclamation, with approximately 50 attendees to witness and enjoy over a healthy catered luncheon. The proclamation was presented by supervisor Nathan Fletcher and proclaimed by Chairwoman Diane Jacob and all members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors. On this day of January 8, 2020, they commended Luib Health Center for its outstanding service, leadership and commitment to the health and wellness of county residents and hereby declared this day to be the “LUIB HEALTH CENTER LIVE WELL SAN DIEGO DAY” throughout the San Diego County!
The County of San Diego Proclamation honoring The Luib Health Center read as follows:
WHEREAS, The health, safety and well-being of residence is a primary concern for the county of San Diego and on July 13, 2010, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors adopted Live Well San Diego to achieve the counties vision of safe, healthy and thriving communities; and
WHEREAS, The Live Well San Diego vision is about uniting all sectors — business, schools, military and veterans organizations, community – and faith- based organizations, and all levels of government— in order to bring about positive change; and
WHEREAS, luib Health Center is the first integrated medicine and holistic center in the USA to offer Filipino Traditional Medicine in order to help with physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs, which offers effective therapeutic services and products to address person – centered wellness; and
WHEREAS, The County of San Diego is committed to recognizing and honoring those establishments who are dedicated to the best ideals of public service, and Luib Health Center is one such worthy establishment; NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT PROCLAIMED by Chairwoman Dianne Jacob and all members of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors on this 8th day of January 2020 that they commend LUIB HEALTH CENTER for its outstanding service, leadership and commitment to the health and wellness of county residents, and do hereby declare this day to be the “LUIB HEALTH CENFER LIVE WELL SAM DIEGO DAY” throughout San Diego County.
